Awakening our Spark of Light with the New Moon in Aries

The New Moon blesses us tonight, April 11, 2021 at 8:31 pm MDT. She opens us to the creative fire of Aries, where she joins the Sun at 22 degrees, with Venus, Ceres, Mercury and Chiron nearby in the sign that starts the zodiacal journey. We begin again in spring in the Northern hemisphere, and like the shoots that breakthrough soil to drink in the warmth of the Sun, we are given another opportunity to come alive. The Sabian symbol for this New Moon is “The Gate Opens to the Garden of All Fulfilled Desires.” This New Moon makes supportive sextile aspects to Mars in Gemini, where energy follows attention, and Jupiter in Aquarius, where adaptability is understood, emphasizing integration of what we’ve discovered and experienced in order to expand into our potential. Mars and Jupiter are joined in an airy trine of possibility, so creating space to connect to higher ideas serves us well this month.

Meanwhile, a mutable square from Mars in Gemini to Neptune in Pisces challenges us to not give up when doubt and uncertainty surface. The mutability of this square offers some fluidity if we work together, knowing that we’re not alone in our struggles.

While the abundance of Aries energy of this lunar cycle feels like a breath of fresh air, it is important to take the time to reflect on what we’ve created personally and collectively up to this point. A square from the New Moon to Pluto in Capricorn urges us to dive deeper into our journeys to uncover and claim what has been buried, repressed, and/or denied. Shadows are part of us, too, and call out to be embraced.

May we be kind to ourselves ~ and each other ~ in this critical time of integration and transformation into wholeness. For the highest good of all relations ~

The garden is calling, and I must go…
With great love and light, always.

Aries New Moon Cycle ~ Planting Seeds of Light in our Collective Solar Plexus

During this Aries New Moon cycle where new life emerges, I’m sending abundant
healing intentions and light to our collective solar/soular plexus.

As we dive deeper into solitude and inner spaces, and our Earth home heals from our influences, I am sending massive golden light to our planet and all sentient beings that dwell here. The image above of calcite, citrine, mica, and frankincense was taken during a Leo eclipse cycle, and while we’re not experiencing an eclipse right now, it feels like we are – old ways of being are ending and we’re being asked to find new ways to be alive now.

The image below is of a golden healer crystal sphere resting on an autumn forest floor. As we visualize its healing energy surrounding our planet, bathing all that live here in Universal Life Force energy, we can align with a higher natural order and flow. Grounding into the present moment, we can breathe in calm and exhale peace. Right here, right now. We can assist our collective healing process and nurture our new collective life that seeks to be born.
With everlasting gratitude for the support from higher realms, I nod Namaste to the wisdom inherent in each of us and in the unfolding of our collective experience, as challenging as it is now. Aries is determined to survive ~ its energy signature is congruent with being, and its will to live is undeniable.

If Aries were to describe itself, it would begin with the words: I AM. How we choose to follow that beginning is up to each of us. Our individual and collective survival depends upon our choices now, perhaps more than ever for many of us.With the purest golden healing light that I can conjure, and with the help of Mother Earth and Father Sky, may these blessings find you and yours in the light of love. For the highest good of all relations.
Always Love.

April’s New Moon in Aries ~ Weaving Ourselves Alive

…as are we.

The Sabian symbol for this month’s New Moon at 15° Aries is An Indian Weaving a Ceremonial Blanket in the Light of the Setting Sun.
As Dane Rudhyar reflects on this imagery in his book, An Astrological Mandala, he muses about spiritual seekers being “robed in the Universe…the Great White Robe of interwoven stars.”

Weaving my story with this New Moon, I conjure the warmth and comfort of my woolen blanket on a chilly May dawn so many years ago, and yet, here, now. The juniper in my circle of prayers casts its twisted shadow on the rocky earth as the Moon’s silver light bathes the backs of buffalo mothers and babies, dark cocoa and cinnamon, grazing on fields winking with mica. In that timeless moment of contemplation and surrender, what was, is, and would be coalesced into a heart-stopping void of grace and awe.

We are all robed in interwoven stars, weaving our way together. Every thread we’ve touched, lived, breathed, spoken, held, loved, laughed, rejected, grieved, and released is part of our living and evolving tapestry. As is every thread that waits for us to grasp it.

Here’s to weaving our lives with open hearts across time and space, for the love of all that is life.

With timeless blessings,
~ Christina
